After one initial paid repair, our lifetime warranty goes into effect. For example, if your vehicle has any issues with its timing chain, you'll want to address that first with our experts. Once you've paid to repair your timing chain, it will be covered under our warranty if it develops any issues again in the future during DeSoto travels.

Filters, lubricants, coolants, fluids, and refrigerants will be covered only if replacement is required in connection with a breakdown of a covered part.

When does coverage begin?
Coverage under this limited warranty begins on the date listed on the original repair order and remains effective for as long as you own your vehicle.

An original repair order is a document provided by the selling dealer displaying the services performed on your vehicle.

Can I use the lifetime warranty instead of car insurance?
